Latenode Billing System: Credits and Plug-n-Play Tokens

Overview of credits, boosts, and token types

Latenode Credits (Execution Credits)

Notion image

Latenode Credits are the primary unit used for executing any automation scenarios on the platform.

How it works:

  • One Latenode Credit initiates a scenario execution and grants up to 30 seconds of execution time.
  • Within this time frame, any number of operations and nodes can be executed, regardless of their type (e.g., apps, JavaScript, headless browser, etc.).
  • The credit consumption depends only on total execution time, not on the number of operations.

Minimum credit usage:

  • The minimum number of credits charged per execution depends on your pricing plan.
  • Even if a scenario runs for only 2–3 seconds, the minimum amount defined by your plan will be charged.
You can view detailed usage statistics for Latenode Credits on the Statistics page.

Plug-n-Play Credits (PnP Tokens)

Notion image

PnP Tokens are an optional billing unit used for nodes marked with the $ icon.

These nodes interact with external paid resources, such as third-party APIs or AI models, without requiring you to provide your own API keys or maintain external accounts. Instead, you work with Latenode as an intermediary - all usage is billed through a single, unified account, and tokens are charged accordingly.

Usage Details

  • 1 PnP token = 1 USD. When a node is executed, the cost is calculated based on actual API usage (e.g., OpenAI), and the equivalent number of tokens is deducted.
  • PnP tokens are charged in addition to Execution Credits during a scenario run.
  • Pay-as-you-go — you are only charged for actual API usage, not per request.
  • Each PnP node displays pricing directly in its interface, usually based on the provider’s rate + a small markup for processing costs.

Two billing modes for PnP tokens:

  1. Pay-per-use (default)
      • Applies to most PnP nodes such as AI models, file converters, enrichment nodes, and AI agents.
      • Tokens are charged based on usage
  1. Monthly subscription for authentication
      • This applies only to personal account connections for the following services:
      • In this case, the $ icon means the connection itself is paid, costing 10 PnP tokens per month.

        • WhatsApp (Personal account)
        • LinkedIn (Personal account)

You will see a clear warning about this when creating the authorization:

Viewing usage

Each PnP node shows its detailed pricing in a collapsible section inside the node configuration. This includes information about token cost per model or data unit, and whether a markup is applied.

After scenario execution, you can view:

  • Exact number of PnP tokens spent
  • Actual execution cost of the node

This data is available under the Log tab on the right side of the node.

You can also track overall PnP token usage in the scenario execution history, accessible via the clock icon in the top right corner of the interface.

Boosts

Notion image

Boosts are add-ons that expand your plan’s capabilities. Depending on the boost type, they:

  • Add more credits
  • Increase limits for triggers, flows, or accounts
  • Reduce the minimum scenario interval

Boosts are purchased separately and do not expire at the end of the month.

Extra Credits

Notion image

If your included credits aren’t enough — you can purchase Extra Credits. These are added to your balance and used after the monthly limit is reached.

They do not expire and are always used after the included credits are depleted.
